The decision on the location of the project will be taken in the next few months. A positive decision for Dublin could see the establishment of an international centre of excellence for basic research.
Randox will boost R&D capabilities at its Antrim facility with a STG9.2m investment package. The company specialises in clinical diagnostics and has pioneered the development of innovative biochip analysing technology.
Boston Scientific will invest EUR21.7m in a R&D and innovation project at its Cork plant.
