Sick of reading online Career, CV and Interview articles?

I can find it tedious researching and reading online articles about a particular research subject. I have started reviewing the area of online videos as a tool to support jobseekers. This is something I hope to introduce myself shortly as it has been on my to-do-list for too long.

I have come across many recruiters, interview coaches and career coaches who have created online videos. One professional who caught my eye was Peggy McKee of PHC Consulting. Peggy is an Executive Consultant & Recruiter and she has posted a number of online videos offering CV & Interview Advice. I like these videos because they are clear, to the point and offer some excellent advice. Have a look for yourself.

The Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical sectors are huge in Ireland and growing. I posted previously about Elan and the sector. I recieved an email enquiring how to get additional information about the sector and how to locate the key companies in the sector. (Its ok I will send your CV and attend your interviews too).

Biotechnology Ireland – This site has good information on the sector including latest news and announcements. The site also has a directory list the Biotech employers in Ireland. So if your are keen to secure work in the Biotech sector this site could prove a valuable resource.

Alternatively there are the online jobboards and recruitment agencies.

There are a number of possible strategies that jobseekers can use to locate potential jobs. I will discuss these in detail in later posts BUT let us look a Job Boards now.

Job boards are big business and there are many focusing on Irish employers and jobseekers. These online Job Boards are straight forward to use. The question I often get is which Job Boards to use. To help you I have outlined some of the bigger online Job boards and some of the niche Job Boards.
