In operation six months now, it is the only site of its kind to cover such a diverse range of disciplines within the creative sector. These include Film, Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, Theatre, Acting, Literature as well as in the growing area of art management and administration. Since its inception, the site has been expanding a range of services unique to the creative industries.

The usual business models are not applicable as the creative sector as it includes a vast amount of not-for-profit companies and small organisations on extremely tight budgets. Traditionally, word of mouth was the only means of advertising job in the sector. It was apparent however, that a more professional and transparent means of job advertising was necessary, yet one which was still affordable to organisations within the creative community.
